The crew (2) were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I was called by Steve approx. 15 min prior to their arrival and they completed the work in 30 min. Excellent service! Will definitely recommend Milgard for both product, guarantee and service.
It took 6 months to resolve issues and it's still not completed
I have been waiting 6 months to have my windows repaired and replaced.
I first called to report leaks and condensation issues in several windows back in February 2017. The issues went back further but I only noticed them in February. I was given an appointment in April. The technician Juan checked the windows and said he could not replace them that day. I would need to reschedule for a day when 2 persons are available. I was told I would not need to call... someone from Milgard would call me.
I waited a week but nobody called me. So then I called. But was told this job needs to be approved by a manager. So I waited another week. Nobody called, so then I called and was told again that this job needs to be approved by a manager. I ended up calling back 5 times before being given an appointment on May 15 for June 21.
Then I received a call on June 20 from Milgard asking to schedule my appointment. I explained that I already have one for the next day. I was told I do not have an appointment scheduled in your system. I made plans in my schedule to be available that day. So then I was given an appointment for August 9. This time, I asked to be sent an email confirming my appointment so I have it in writing. I was told I would receive it but I did not for 2 days. I then called back and asked again. Finally, I received an email confirmation.
The techs came on August 9 and completed most of the work. However, there were 4 sliders on the list I reported which have condensation that should have been replaced the same day. However, I was told I would have to reschedule to have those replaced. I now have another appointment for October 2. In total, it will take 8 months to complete my repairs.
According to Milgard, is this considered acceptable service? By any reasonable measure this is definitely not acceptable service. What will be done to remedy this situation?
I will appreciate if someone would investigate my case. I do not have confidence and satisfaction with Milgard service.
