Tech did a great job and was very efficient.

Although the first replacement window that was brought out by the service rep did not fit properly (off by probably 1/16th of an inch), the second one fit perfectly. The time between the servicing was about three weeks and since the old one was still serviceable, everything was OK. This window was one of the original we had installed in our new house, 19 years ago. I am impressed that Milgard honored their lifetime warranty. Many companies do not do that anymore.

We should've called sooner than we did.

We had 2 problems. One was a stripped handle on a casement window crank, which the service man fixed in 30 seconds. The second was a sliding window that didn't slide well and was off center in the track, with the bottom of the window completely closed and the top open 1/2 inch. The serviceman quickly removed the window and told us the rollers on the top were missing, which was causing the problem. He had rollers in his truck, installed them, then made sure the window would lock, which it did not previously. This window was not right from the beginning, so why we waited 4 years to call is not very smart. He was here for probably 20 minutes, and everything is working beautifully. Thank you!

Setting up the appointment was challenging. The Service Tech was awesome!

I have had my Milgard windows for about ten years. I appreciate the guarantee that is offered to keep my windows functional. However, I feel there could be some improvement in scheduling service calls. After over thirty minutes on the phone explaining the problem, an appointment time was slotted three weeks away. About a week later I received a call moving the appointment time another three weeks further due to a delay in shipping the parts. I explained to the representative (over the phone) that I had a window I could not close or secure and that was unacceptable. A service technician was scheduled within the following week between the hours of 12 and 2 p.m. I later received an email verifying the appointment on the same day but within the hours of 7-9 a.m. When no one showed up, I called and was told they didn't know why the email automatically puts the morning hours in. The service technician was very prompt, courteous and polite. He explained and demonstrated how to fix the problem and watched me practice on the window to make sure I understood. I appreciated his patience and expertise.
