When we were looking to replace the windows of the entire house, a friend raved about Milgard windows. We are so glad we took her advice because it has been over ten years now. The windows are good quality and hold up well. The few small issues with wear and tear have been fixed, quickly and efficiently. So... first they sent the wrong door. It didn’t fit the frame properly, it was the wrong trim type, the weather stripping didn’t line up, etc. etc. there were quite a few problems. Not the least of which was that wind blew through the open space between the incorrectly fitting doors. After explaining and explaining that it was wrong, being forced to send photos and take measurements myself. Weeks later they finally sent someone out to look at it. Of course they immediately realized they’re mistake and ordered a new one. That took a month and a half. When it arrived. It was also wrong. Now multiply that by three times... yes.. THREE times. It took them three times. With a month waiting in between each one. I was without a proper fitting door for the entire winter. Very disappointed in this company, their products and customer service and would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Our MIlgard windows are great. Form selection when we first ordered them, pricing, the manufacturing and delivery time was super. We needed a window replaced their process was great. I happen to call in that hoping a somewhat older window we had install many years needed replacing also. They walked me through the information they needed, gave me an estimated delivery/replacement date, which was right on, gave us up dates and the replacements were very fast. Ends up the technician notices another window I had missed for replacement. He ordered them and here we are. They all look like new. I cant say enough how happy we are with Milgard.

Milgard's lifetime glass warranty is terrific. One of our large, tall picture windows failed (after 14 years of direct southern exposure), and Milgard definitely stood behind its promise. The only downside is we had to wait a couple of months for the replacement glass and installation team to both be available in our neck of the woods, but once they were here the new glass was swapped out for the failed glass very competently and efficiently, so no complaints. All of our windows are made by Milgard. This is not the first glass that needed replacement - two or three others were replaced fairly quickly by our local dealer. Unfortunately their installer retired and was not replaced, so this is the first time we have dealt with Milgard directly for glass replacement. Considering the alternative the sliightly longer delay in completing the work is acceptable. It's definitely nice to have clear glass to look through again. We're very happy with the work and would recommend!

Yes.. from my first phone call to my actual window replacement everything was top notch! Wish my windows that were replaced had been..Each time i have found small scratches in them . The scratches are small but visible..

Our experience with Milgard was excellent in all respects. They replaced our living room window after moisture had penetrated the seal. The technician was very polite, knew exactly what he was doing and took care of the replacement very efficiently and quickly. The turn-around time from when my husband first called Milgard about the window and the time that a technician arrived to our home to take care of the replacement was within a week. We were both very pleased with Milgard's ease in handling the warranty issue and how great our technician was. Thank you Milgard!

The lead time to have a representative come to your house to inspect for warranty work takes a couple of months. Then the replacement takes almost as long. Unfortunately, I had two windows that had to be remade a second time due to wrong number of grids. I had to make a couple of calls to make sure the correction order was in the works. Then took another couple of months to get a spot on the schedule to come out and install those. The installers have to cover a very large area (multiple counties). Therefore, only come to your town on certain days of the week. In the end all turned out well. Just had to be patient.

We just built our home. We ordered milgard windows because we think it’s a great company with great warranty. 4 months living in the house we got leaks. Water leaking from the top of our house and going inside our windows. Not knowing what caused the issues we called our contractor out to diagnose. No one seems to know what’s goin on. No one suspected it’s the windows because these are brand new windows. The contractor have the roofer came out to make sure it’s not the roof, then he removed the siding to make sure the water didn’t get in there and causing molds or damage long terms. Finally we called milgard out to check the windows. The tech came out and told us it’s the windows issue and unfortunately Milgard windows seem to get this kind of issues. He assured me that will be taken care of and milgard will help us paying for the cost of having our contractor inspected behind the siding for additional damages. He said he will put that in the report and someone will call us to work it out. I also spoke with the warranty department soon after to follow up and she said the supervisor will contact me. A month or 2 passed with no news from Milgard. The contractor contacted milgard about this and was told we have to pay for it?!? Then the lady called and left me a voicemail demanded that I have to pay the contractor and Milgard may or may not cover that cost?! She also emailed me demanded the same thing. I cannot believe what I have heard. What kind of customer service is it? And what kind of warranty is it? If milgard has this windows issue maybe it should be broadcasted. And when an issue being brought up, management should be involved and follow up accordingly instead of letting employees handled calls inappropriately and harassing customers with messages and emails. Where is the supervisor when requested?

Two technicians arrived earlier than appointment due to cancellation of another job, but they called and asked if could come earlier. I loved that aspect! Worked on two casement windows fast, efficiently, had all the parts, knew exactly what to replace, tested windows and they were gone. My windows were installed in 1985 and had developed streaking and condensation between the panes. I had the original receipt so decided to see if they would repair or replace the windows. Milgard was happy to. It took a few emails during the month of May (2017) to get details ironed out, then the replacement windows were made and the installer scheduled for September. The window installer replaced one window and said he needed different equipment to install the other. The next reschedule date was in March (2018). Different installers came and installed the second window, no problems, no special tools required. Huh. Windows look great, job well done, took too long.

I had 5 separate appointments to replace the same window. Each time the installation was called off after I set aside the time and changed my plans to be there for the technician. Each time the window did not ship from the factory. Each time I called customer service because they did not call me. Each time I was assured somebody would get back to me within 24 hours with an explanation and reschedule. Never happened. I had to call Milgard. On three occasions I asked to speak to service mgr. Never available. The first time he never returned my call so after a few days I tried again. He made promises he did not keep. The second time I was transferred to a manager that was out of the office for the following week. No help there. Third time the mgr made promises to get back to me he did not keep again. The story goes on as do the failures to support the customer. I have finally received the window. It had the wrong hardware so I took hardware off old window. The finish was poor. Sevral spots where the rails and stiles joined have significant chipout. I stained and varnished and it looks ok but again, quality is lacking. Nuff said. Unhappy customer.
