For added security, the frame is designed with a device that prevents the sliding panel from being lifted out and removed when the door is closed and locked.

I got in touch with the service department through the website and they contacted me (via e-mail) quickly. Service was scheduled, and I received a call with the 2-hour time frame two days prior. The In-Home Service technician arrived within the time frame, completed the job quickly, and was friendly and professional.I highly recommend Milgard service!

It took a bit longer than I hoped to get the service team here. I had to wait for over 2 month, but I understand they had to come from Honolulu to Maui. However, once they were here they were fast and fixed the problem. I even learned some "tricks". I am glad to buy Milgard... they are the best!

My own house has 20 year old windows and one facing the setting sun lost it's seal and started fogging up.
