Feb 08, 2018We had a 10 year old sliding door that was getting hard to move. I reached out to Milgard and was surprised they offer free service to their products. The only complaint I have was a 2 month wait for the service appointment. But the price was right and my door now works like new.

Feb 08, 2018My only problem with the process was it took 8 months from initial report to completion. The repair was rescheduled 3 times. The last postponement was due to Milgard failing to get the replacement part to the tech on time. The tech was great and completed the repair a n 15 minutes so it only took 8 months and 15 minutes to get it taken care of.

I was just grateful they were going to come fix my door lock. They did a great job and were in and out in about 3 minutes! Thank you so much.

Feb 07, 2018My house had Milgard windows when I bought it over 20 years ago. But two windows facing south had plastic trim that had popped out of place. I called to see if it could be repaired. And they sent someone out to fix it. with postcard, email and phone messages to make sure of the date, and then the time, and a call from the service guy when he was going to be a few minutes late! When I think of replacement windows, Milgard will be at the top of the list.

Feb 07, 2018I cannot express how well the in-home tech was efficient in troubleshooting the issue and fixing the door. I was disappointed with the inability to use my sliding door in the 25 days I had to wait for a scheduled appointment.

Feb 07, 2018I am builder in the area of the Southbay. I have purchased several times from Milgard and recommended Milgard to many customers but for the life of me they can't support their product efficiently from my recent experiences. Their after care service is not worth the paper they write it on.
I have been dealing with an issue for 6 months trying to replace 1 glass replacement and some small missing items issues. It has been now 4 attempts with technicians showing and paying lip service to the issues and informing me that they didn't have the correct parts. Save the gas. You could have told that to me on phone. My sense is the dispatch and technicians are not communicating well enough to get organized for their service. Still waiting...
