Feb 08, 2018We had two Milgard windows with issues. It was a long and difficult process to convince the Milgard people that we "deserved" a service all. It took several emails, including photographs, to get them to agree that we needed them and were under warranty. Once they were convinced, we had to wait 4 months for the appointment!
The actual service call was prompt and effective.

Feb 08, 2018My review is for the local service crew here in Denver. Your upper level folks - Jilliane Flint and Todd Veator - have been professional and helpful, as much as they can be from afar, but your local team shows no sense of urgency or interest in addressing long term and recurring issues with the door that we paid a pretty penny for. I spoke with Mr Veator two weeks ago, and since then the local contact managed to make an unproductive visit to the store, and has since passed responsibility onto someone else. I still don’t know what to expect or when, as absolutely zero information has been offered. Keep in mind, the current issues have been ongoing since last May. (We had significant issues at install, as well)
The bottom line is we have a back door that is not functional, and no idea when it will be fixed. And neither intervention from a VP, nor whatever Mr Veator’s title is, has managed to get the local service team any more interested in getting the problem fixed. I cannot understand how this location is able to do business like this, for at least the 3+ years since we bought the doors.

One window is still in question?I will be checking it out - when the sunlight is right.NOT sure why the seals break so often on Milgard Windows.But all in all I do appreciate that you (eventually)follow thru.The installing technician was very courteous, and fast.The last Lady I dealt with on the phone was EXCELLENT.Sincerely'Lori Gardner-Mecham

Feb 08, 2018As a long-time customer, two of my original windows had to be replaced (foggy). This replacement took two trips to get the measurements right. My more recent retro-windows, one needed glass replaced (insect wing between glass panels). Two trips required (scratched glass upon 1st arrival) to complete. Really? One picture window, cracked after 9 days of install, from a one inch glass chip hidden at edge, under their trim strip. One-month wait for Milgard rep to view onsite--a no show! Then, Milgard would not cover--customer pays for new glass and another install fee on a new window! Go figure.

Feb 08, 2018Alex was prompt, polite and professional. He secured the end caps that were being detached when the patio door was opened by using screws. The latch on the jamb side of the door needed adjusting after the repair and he also took care of that issue. The latch is still hard to operate and Alex showed me what to do is the latching problem gets worse. It's nice to see service technicians who are respectful of a customer's questions and concerns and will guide us handyman types through future fixes we can likely handle on our own.

Feb 08, 2018My window was scratched badly from the inside of the dual pane. It also was very heavy on the track since day one. I called in a request and they sent out a rep to look at it. My window and track was replaced, in lightning time! The men who came to replace it was professional, on time and efficient! Thank you Milgard!!

Feb 08, 2018I have been waiting months for two windows to be replaced. On the day that they were scheduled I received a phone call stating they would be unable to do the work. The reason being that one window required 2 men to do the work and only one was available. Then I am told that I would have to go to back of the line to reschedule the job to be done. What sort of customer service is this? I think that if you are ones that screwed up then I should be given priority to have the job completed not be told go to the end of the line and wait another few months for the work. Jim Cowles

Feb 08, 2018I called with a request for service and within 2 hours a technician was at my door and had the problem solved. The service rep. was very very helpful and cheerful during a long period on the phone with me.
