The service man got the job done in short time. He knew what he was doing, the window was replaced in short time.

Feb 23, 2018The inside wood cladding on my Milgard sliding glass door buckled about a week after it was installed and painted. It took almost 3 months to get a replacement. The replacement doors were installed but in the process some of the trim pieces were split ( as in broken) and yet still reused. Plus Milgard says they won’t repaint the door so I’m out $300 to get the replacement doors painted all because of Milgard’s defective doors.

Feb 23, 2018I recently discovered streaks and condensation with 5 of my windows and contacted Milgard (I am the original owner from 2010). After measuring the windows and using a magnifying glass to take down the pertinent numbers from the upper left window edges, Milgard scheduled the appointment. On the morning of the appointment I received a call 7:00 am letting me know that he was entering our complex. 2 1/2 hours later Dave was finished. Quick, no issues, and they look great (can't wait to wash them tomorrow per Dave's instructions). GREAT lifetime warranty policy.

Feb 23, 2018After 18-19 years, we had some windows corroding and one window had a faulty spring mechanism. The technician was very professional and a really nice person to have working on our windows. He did a great job, took off his shoes when coming in the house, and even found/ fixed a problem with one of the windows that we didn’t see. Such great service and a great experience overall. So glad we went with this company years ago when we remodeled our house.Thanks Milgard for the great windows and service !

Feb 23, 2018My overall experience was great, it just took a long time. The original service request was put in October 26th and first response from Millguard was November 12th. Service was completed today, February 23rd. Fortunately, this was not an emergency situation. But 4 months to complete is way too long.
The onsite techs (both inspection and installation) were very friendly and professional. My new windows look great.

Feb 23, 2018The initial rep is definitely in the wrong line of work. Zero stars for her. Her supervisor was great I'm giving the overall experience 5 stars for the end result, minus 1 star for having to ask for a supervisor. I can't comment on the repair, as it hasn't been done yet.
Details: My repair appointment was coming up to replace 5 window panels. I asked Milgard to deliver the panels ahead of the appointment so they could be pre-painted before the installation to keep the dust from sanding and other mess in the garage. The first rep said firmly "no, absolutely not, we don't do that for customers". The supervisor said "yes, absolutely, we can deliver them day after tomorrow." And they were.
I also asked the first rep about getting 2 screens replaced under Milgard's one year warranty on screens. She responded "no, it's been over 12 months since delivery to the dealer. It doesn't matter if they were installed less than 12 months ago." However, the warranty says it starts from the date of installation, and the supervisor corrected the situation.

Feb 23, 2018I had a pretty substantial issue with the fixed panel on a 10 year-old sliding glass door. I filed a warranty claim on-line, and received a call within a few days (it could have been the next day, I don't recall) to schedule a service appointment several weeks later.
The service tech showed up within the scheduled time frame, called ahead to let me know he was coming, and worked quickly. I think the issue was bigger than he had been led to expect, but still took care of it far faster than I expected.
