Takes way to long to get an appointment

I had a special situation and they came through for me when no one else could help. They are a great company with extremely helpful people , from receptionist, sales rep, technician, installers.

We bought new sliding glass doors which were delivered and installed last month. The workmanship on one pane was unacceptable. Milgard responded quickly, sent out a serviceman to assess the problem, and the replacement pane was put in yesterday. Now all good, altho it still concerns me that the pane in question passed their quality control in the first place.

The time from initial e-mails to repairs took months. Technicians were quick and courteous.

Loose locking rod on patio door could have used lock-tight on threads to prevent problem from re-occurring and willingness to retrieve silicone lube (provided by customer) from truck instead of rushing off to next lunch or next job would have made an much better impression.

We did not know that our broken window was still under warranty. What a wonderful surprise and the technician was terrific.

The repairs were completed promptly in an extremely professional manner.This service and the gentlemen who did it speaks extremely highly for the Milgard company! They are the best advertising you could have. Nothing but professionalism from start to finish!Thank you!!

My only complaint, and it is nitpicking, is that from the time I called to the time they were able to come out for the repair was a bit long, but since my repair wasn't an emergency, it really made no difference!

Fast install of replacement window panes. My carpal tunnel makes it difficult to remove window screen so I can wash the windows. He showed me an easier way to remove the screen. Now they snap out so easy!

I put in Milgard windows throughout my home 17-1/2 years ago when I bought my home. The price was right as were the options regarding glass thickness and type of finish, sound blocking capacity, style, color and warranty. They still look great and function perfectly today.My current problem was that the sliding glass door glide tipped over, rendering it very difficult to open and close the slider. Milgard sent out a representative to replace it at no charge and it works "good as new" again.

I was scheduled to work and wouldn't be home on the day milgard scheduled my window evaluation/repair. I called to see if it was possible for the techs to evaluate and handle the repair if I was away. I was told this was fine but to give detailed directions of key location, etc, which I did over the phone that day.

On the day of the milgard visit, my contractor called me to say the techs were at house and were suprised no one was home - they hadn't got the message. If it weren't for the appointment having been made by my contractor and having his contact info, it would have been another 4 months to schedule a visit.

There were two windows to evaluate, both appeared crooked when closed in the frame. After the visit, both looked better but only 1 was truly plumb. I've still never heard anything from milgard about what was done, if that crookedness will keep the weather out - anything related to their visit and the work they did.

My experience was an all around head scratcher.

My windows are 20 years old (original owner) and the seal had failed in five windows over the past few years. Got in touch with Milgard and a technician responded to my home, inspected the windows and took measurements quickly and efficiently. Making the subsequent appointment to replace the windows was easy and Milgard worked with my schedule. They arrived earlier than promised and about an hour and a half later all five were replace, one 30' off the ground. Chris, the technician, was pleasant and professional. My experience with the entire process was outstanding!

I was impressed all around with the service today - your two service crew came in within the two hour window, replace the windows in no time and the new windows look amazing.
