Milgard doesn't keep their word (1/5)

We are original homeowners with Milgard windows in our home. We have double hung windows. Every spring we go through our windows and we check for cracked tabs. Our windows tilt in to be easily cleaned, but the plastic tabs don't last through Colorado winters. We always call Milgard warranty with our list of tabs that need replacement. Last year 2020 as per normal we called with our list. They sent out a tech several months from our call because of Covid craziness we didn't have a problem waiting. The tech broke one of our double hung parts as he was working on the tabs. He said he'd order the parts and get it fixed. Today May 3, 2021 we still have not had our window fixed. Despite phone calls and emails back and forth they seem to not be able to get us the correct part. We've had many techs come and say the same thing. "It's a simple part and we carry it. Shouldn't be this hard." They say someone will call us with a new service date. Well they don't call. We call. The service dept doesn't seem to be able to get the correct part. They give us a promise this time it'll be fixed and it never happens. Again today I called with the tech in my house and we both spoke to the service dept customer service coordinator. She once again got the part number. Once again we are left waiting with a broken window. I've left messages for Yarik the main manager and he doesn't return my calls. Max was helping us before. He is now in Sales. On the Milgard homepage you talk about how you hold yourselves accountable. NOT TRUE! At one point Max said the parts were obsolete. Today they said they can order it. Which is true? We demand a new window if parts are obsolete. You've been given one year to make this right. Where's your loyalty to your customer? Where's your accountability? Where's service you can be proud of? Non existent. We have been pulled and jerked along. Time to do what's right in Denver, Colorado. Stop leaving customers here in Denver without solutions. Milgard is a terrible company!

The vent section of my new window had a crack in the fiberglass frame interlock fin. The service technician replaced it with a new vent section. The new vent works great and doesn't bind like the old one.

Really stand behind their product!! (5/5)

The lifetime guarantee is no joke! Our home is pushing 30 years old and when we have a window problem they still come out and fix it. We haven't had but a very few issues over the 30 years, so it is a very good product.

I noticed my bathroom window had moisture in between. Went to the Milgard website and put in a request to replace. Got a call in a few days with an appointment. Rebeun came out and replaced in under 15 minutes. Thank you so much

Unbelievably fast and thorough! (5/5)

Wow- This was a big job, replacing many windows of different sizes and types. I was expecting them to replace our 10-year old faulty e-glass windows begrudgingly, since they guarantee the replacing at their own expense. But the service coordinator over the phone was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. The technicians were right on time, and did their job with efficiency and care. Our house looks brand new! They fixed all our old springs too, and everything works so smoothly. They really do stand behind their guarantee. I am so impressed!

Very good company and windows. I got my kitchen window about 12 years ago. The contractor that put it in did not give me any paperwork on the warranty. They closed their doors about 6 years ago. I called milgard they told me to sent them a picture of the handle on the window. I did and got the window replaced at no charge. Very nice
