May 01, 2015Vlad did his best to make closing easier on the only casement window in the place. Turns out that it's hard to correct stuff when/if the window isn't installed properly. You can only do so much with an existing situation without removing and replacing it, and as a builder, I just didn't want to go there, and, no, I wasn't the builder for this home. I know how to install windows correctly...with no call backs!!

April 30, 2015This is the third window I've had to have replaced because of a lost seal in-between the two panes of glass. It's kind of a hassle but, Milgard has stood behind their full lifetime warranty. They called back within two days of requesting service, and my replacement window was installed two weeks later.

April 30, 2015The scheduled time was from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The technician arrived promptly at 2:00 pm and completed the window replacement by 2:30. I was not at home, but my wife and mother-in-law said that he was both professional and courteous.

Cornelio not only installed my beautiful replacement window in less than 5 minutes, but he took the extra time to also provide me with some helpful cleaning and maintenance tips to care for my windows and doors!

April 30, 2015From the first contact I had regarding our problem, I was treated like the company really wanted to resolve my issue and they did in a very courteous and professional manner from the customer service employees over the phone to the installer, on his first visit to inspect and today when the installation occurred. Besides that, both visits to my home where within the 2 hour time frame. In this day and age, it isn't always easy dealing with firms when you have a concern about their products. Milgard seems to get it right.

April 29, 2015The technician came to solve two issues. He quickly and professionally removed and replaced the defective glass pane. Regarding the second issue, even though we provided a photo of the damaged crank mechanism, the technician was furnished the wrong part. He said he would have the correct part shipped directly to our residence by last Friday. So far nothing has arrived. If Milgard provides the ability for customers to upload photos on their website, then we customers expect Milgard to view the image(s) and for the technician to arrive with all the proper parts and tools.
