Feb 22, 2018I filed a warranty claim for a blown window back in November of 2017 and was told it would be replaced in late December. In December I was told that Milgard no longer serviced windows in my area and it would be handled by a sub contractor. After several cancellations I finally got my window installed on Feb 22, 2018 and, low and behold, it is defective. The contract installer tried to tell me that it has a small piece of silicone caulking showing but a closer look shows a crack in the glass. Anyhow, back to calling for another appointment and replacement.

Feb 22, 2018Our service rep who came to the house and installed the replacement windows was outstanding . He represented Milgard in the most professional way and was a pleasure to work with .The one complaint is from the time we filed our request for replacement of windows to the actual date it was completed took several months !!

Feb 22, 2018I originally contacted Milgard on 12/9/17. The soonest available appointment was in the beginning of February. The morning of that scheduled appointment, Milgard cancelled and postponed our appointment a little over 2 weeks. The window was finally repaired in 2/22/18. The service man was very polite and knowledgeable. He did a good job and was very quick. I am 100% happy with the job he did.

Feb 22, 2018Although it took months for Milgard to come out to do the work, when they finally came out, they did a fantastic job. The tech, Olec was courteous and knew what he was doing. He also took his time and fixed the problem.

Feb 22, 2018Milgard's vinyl French Doors were installed in a room addition by a contractor. The doors had air leakage do to some inadequate parts so Milgard's service technicians replaced the door weatherstripping and adjusted the doors to close and seal properly. This work was done under warranty. Their goal was to make things right and that is exactly what they did.

Feb 22, 2018June 2017: Just hope you never need customer service from Milgard. First you have to measure each window pane exactly yourself and understand exactly what you have because it varies greatly . I don't know about you but I am not skilled that way which is why I buy warranties and have other people install things in my house. I don't understand why they can't refer to their records for the windows that were bought for this house. It took 3 months to get an appointment and guess what? I was 5/8 inch off on one of my measurements so he had to measure and reschedule. I get a call saying the next appointment is in December The guy came and tells me that the September Milgard guy measured wrong!!!! and that 'scheduling will call me to try again' They never called and apparently emailed me only but I changed my email. So I get a call apologizing that my February 5th appointment has to be rescheduled because the glass was incorrect. 2 problems here: I didn't know I had a February 5th appointment and once again they messed up. I call them to yell, scream and sort this out. The woman apologizes and admits that the guy who made the mistake measuring is no longer there and that they have received other complaints about the customer service. So we reschedule for February 20th. Now comes the hilarious part. An hour later I get a message from Milgard giving me my 2 hour window for the arrival of the window panes for the Feb 5th appointment! I have to call her back and let her know that it was cancelled. Are you freaking kidding me!!? Here's an idea: send someone the first time to measure correctly instead of leaving it up to the homeowner. Are they wasting materials doing this? Finally on February 20th (anyone doing the math?) I get the correct window pane and it fits. God help me if my other windows need attention
