Feb 27, 2018Excellent service from the two gentlemen that came to repair the glass door. They listened to my complaint or problem I showed what I thought what was wrong they identified the problem replaced the guides that were worn out with no problem. I asked about the handle being lose and they even tighten that up lubed the track and made sure the door had proper fit after taking door out of the track. The door opens as if it was brand new and it is a very heavily used door. For twenty years old excellent product couldn't be happier. Only complaint took 6 months to get here. Oh well they showed up on time and did excellent work. Thank You Mill guard
They did call a few months later to say we haven't forgot about the glass door which was good.

Feb 27, 2018My whole home was refitted with Milgard windows in 2004. They are great. This is the fourth window to have this problem but the lifetime warranty and the ease of service make it a non issue. The job is done fast and clean by a very polite professional.

Feb 27, 2018It took 3 try's to get the one window correct. The installation team was very good, clean professional and friendly! I did not receive a call or voice mail about arrival time of the installation team. I don't believe I have spoken to a Milgard representative on the phone.

Feb 27, 2018I called for my warranty replacement window in March 2017. I received my window finally installed in February 2018. Never once did anyone follow up with me. Check your records as I conducted 27 calls to follow up and was given a ridiculous excuse each time I called. A manager would never call me, no one ever took responsibility for the terrible service I received. Missing paperwork so the call center and Mike the tech were blaming each other, another trip to my home to do it again, missing diagrams, order not placed, came in broken in January no one told me. You guys are terrible at communication and follow up. 11 months for a window replacement is simply unacceptable. Never once did anyone apologize and unless I insisted someone tell me this is ridiculous no one would acknowledge. You treated me very poorly as a customer. Mike told my husband they fired the lady who started my case. Let me know if you ever wanted a trained professional to come in and consult to show you how to fix this service issue you have I have consulted several companies over the year to improve processes. I have ran a company for 20 years and no one would work here another day if this is how they treated anyone. You guys disappoint!

Feb 27, 2018The repair work was performed by a very outstanding person...First, he was right within the time window we had pre-coordinated. He then communicated exactly what he was doing, while executing the repair work. When it was more complicated than anticipated, he explained exactly what he was planning with an accurate time estimate of his plan. He also provided guidance on how to prevent a reoccurrence of the same problem. Excellent repair person. Also, the coordination to arrange the repair was very straight forward. The advance time to schedule the appointment was a little long, but I am very pleased with the process and especially with the actual repair result AND especially with the person that executed the repair.

Feb 27, 2018I have one house one cottage but in 2000. Over 30 Milgard windows. Love them. If I have ever had a need for service, it was so easy, one phone call and a service tech would call me back and come over very quickly to fix the problem. I didn't know it was possible and so easy to replace a double pane window or the hinges of an awning window.

I would recommend Milgard.
The folks in the office were confused about some code marking on the edges of the windows that they asked me to look for but turned out to not exist when we bought our windows. There was also a confusion as to when the in-home service would take place.

Feb 26, 2018When I called Milgard, the CSR was the most unprofessional, unkind, and downright rude person I ever talked to. She even went to insinuate the window was not Milgard. We hadn't heard from Milgard in 8 months when out of the blue we received a call from a service rep to come and look at the window. Lo and behold he confirmed the window was Milgard and was under warranty. Jon was the most professional and kindest person. He apologized for the unprofessionalism we endured. the window has been fixed, but we would NEVER in a million years recommend Milgard to anyone.
