I’m so glad we purchased Millard windows when we built our home 18 years ago. They stand behind their product and any repairs needed are taken care of easily and without cost.

Two windows were due to be replaced only one window got replaced the service technician was completely rude and refused to do the job so I am left with a massive window that the seal has been broken . Window needs to be replaced . the service person argued with me that the seal is not broken , and I have seen moisture dripping down the middle of this window for over a year . the service person refused to install the window that he had . He refused to fix the problem. I am completely disgusted with your company .

Mar 01, 2018SECOND service trip and five months later finally resulted in the window replacement I was expecting.
Person taking the order to replace windows with failed seals said she had all the information from my original purchase order and scheduled installation. 10 weeks later the crew arrived with two of three windows requested and one was incorrectly ordered.
It took an upset phone call and another 8 weeks to get the job done. Milgard knew about wrong order but did not bother to order the right window until I called to complain. They gave me another 10 week out install date but After I complained it was moved up two weeks.

Mar 01, 2018I have a home with 12 Milgard windows - all under the lifetime warranty. In May of 2017 (10 months ago at the time of writing), I reached out to initiate service and replacement for 3 of them that are failing and have water encroachment between the panes.
At the time of writing this, I've had two different service dates, the first being 5 months after my initial outreach, the second being just this past month in February. Both times the technicians came unprepared with the proper equipment - they were missing two of the windows, as well as a ladder. At this point in time, I don't have another service scheduled until May 2018 ... that will have made it a full year to get these fixed (that is, if this third time they can actually show up with the proper materials).
Unfortunately, the regional service call center has been completely unprofessional and downright rude in efforts to contact them to get this done sooner (especially since they did not show up and do the job correctly two separate times!) ... it's one thing to have a long wait time, it's another to send out technicians multiple times, and still not get the job done ... and then make your customer wait an extensive amount of time to reschedule.
I have not felt that there is a true and authentic customer service element to this company. There is no way to contact them other than that regional office (or this website) and they don't take kindly to reviews that are anything less than glowing. I'm hoping this post, on the third try here, actually makes it onto the site (previous versions of my review were refused).
I would very much appreciate hearing from someone at Milgard in the Customer Service Dept that could actually help me and get my windows fixed and the job completed.

Mar 01, 2018When Millard’s says they have a lifetime warrenty on their windows they mean it. I had 3 windows that failed and they were replaced with new ones. There were a few minor inconveniences, such as the long schedule out date (2-3 months) and the tech was about 30 minutes late for the appointment. Overall I was happy to get my new windows installed. They look great!

Response time projection was between 4 to 6 week but it was explained to me when I called and I received both a follow-up call from service and a text message with an approximate time from my repair professional. Thank you Milgaurd

Mar 01, 2018We had a horrible experience with this purchase. Western Windows, who ordered and installed the windows, led us to believe that the new windows would match our existing windows. This was totally false as we found out after the windows were installed.
Western Windows was totally unprofessional with regard to the actual installation. They walked off the job before it was completed without notice or any provocation. I had a particularly ugly conversation with Bill Flynn, the owner of Western Windows, in which he threatened by sue me because we treated his son the installer badly. To this day I have no idea what he is talking about. I called Milgatd to complain but was told Milgatd would do nothing because their only relationship was with the dealer Bennett Windows. I also called Bennett Windows who talked to Western Windows and said he had persuaded Western Windows to come out and finish the job. I refused because I didn't want to have anything more to do with someone who threatened to sue for no reason.
I think Milgard should be much more proactive in policing the quality of your installers. Western Windows was totally unprofessional and this reflects on Milgard.

Mar 01, 20182 different people have been here to look at window & another appointment cancelled due to being too cold. It is going on 3 months & still no results. I believe I have had to call each time to find out status. We are currently waiting on Jim Grow to find out installers schedule which has been over a week.

Milgard has stood by the warranty and has replaced every window that has gone bad in a timely and profession manner at no cost to us. The service technician has meet every expectation of doing the replacement and communicated each time with accuracy, he has done an outstanding job.

Feb 28, 2018Windows were installed in Summer of 2017. 3 Windows needed replacement for warranty issues (poor quality control released 3 bad windows). Tech came in Aug to measure. In Nov, a tech came back to remeasure as the Simi Valley factory lost the first tech's measurements. In Jan 2018, the windows were delivered. Thankfully before they began work they measured the windows. All 3 were 1 inch too short and could not be installed. So measurements were taken again and now we're looking at mid-March for delivery of new windows - - 7 months later! Each time I had to take time away from work to support these visits. I only hope the 4th time will complete the warranty work, but I'm not very optimistic.

Feb 28, 2018When you purchase Milgard Windows, you not only get a great window, but you get a great warranty along with it, with no hidden fees. Just had two windows replaced under a 100% lifetime warranty. The techs were curtious and professional. They actually showed up when they said they would. Hopefully I'll never have to have Greg and Hans back, (the two techs), however if I do, I am confident Milgard will take care of whatever my issue is.
