Mar 08, 2018To get in touch with Milgard was a challenge. We contacted the company who did the installation Alexander Windows in Sep/2017 and Milgard didn't respond or create a case until Jan/2018. It was very frustating. I finally visited the office of Alexander Windows in early Jan/2018 and this office expedited our request. Once we had a case number with Milgard, the service was better and their response much faster and reasonable. Milgard service crew was awesome! They saved the day for this company, without the service crew's profesionalism this company is not that great.

Mar 08, 2018When I called and told the phone rep what my problem was, I got direction so I could access the information that was needed in order to fix the problem. Once I had that information and called back I was given an appointment to fix the problem. The Service Tech arrived on time, was very polite and knowledgeable, and fixed the problem to my satisfaction.

Mar 08, 2018We've had two windows replaced in 13 years. We are very happy when we had our home built that the Builder gave us a choice between Milgard and other window suppliers. Since Milgard had a lifetime warranty we thought it would be the better way to go. It was. We have very large windows and if we had to pay for replacement of them it would cost us a lot of money. Customer service and the installers were very Professional.The one Improvement I would make is when submitting a claim online they ask for an ID number on the window, which is impossible to find. Even with instructions online you cannot read what is on the window.

Mar 08, 2018One of our large double-pane Milgard windows developed several streaks and some fogging between the panes of glass after 11 years. Technicians arrived on time (and even called 10 minutes out) with replacement window that fit perfectly--total time from technicians' arrival to departure after job was professionally completed was 11 minutes. And no messes to clean up--technicians wore shoe covers in the house and took the old window with them.

Mar 08, 2018Many years after buying all the frames and windows from Milgard the panes needed to be replaced due to the salt in the air from the ocean. No questions asked and they were all replaced! Great service!!

Mar 08, 2018I have nothing but praise for the efforts exhibited by your service representative, Mario. This is his third visit to my house to correct what should have been a simple the deadbolt issue. On two separate occasions on the day that the service was scheduled to correct the deadbolt, the service call was cancelled with only an electronic notification of “product not available.” With a last minute cancellation, I would have expected a phone call and some explanation. On the most recent service call, Mario was provided the correct hardware and after 4 months that issue is finally resolved. There is one more issue that has been pending since the initial installation, which is yet to be resolved. In October when the set of doors was installed ;there were two, be they small in size, gouges down to the medal on the top faceboard above the door. Both technicians who came took pictures and submitted them for review to determine how to resolve the paint repair sutuation. In December I spoke with your Temecula office and the lady said they were working on how to correct it and would get back to me. No one ever call back. I presume that the service calls—in Jan & Feb which were canceled—would address this issue. But when Mario cameos February 28th, he advised that touch up painting was handled separately by an individual in the office. So I again called your Temecula office, they had no record of this punch-list paint repair item. Your receptionist asked me to take a picture of the gouges and email it to show the damage, which I did. I asked for an acknowledgment of receipt, but so far no response. I trust this is something that can be resolved in the near future.

Mar 08, 2018I had 2 new french doors installed. 1 closed fine; the other wouldn't close. The tech fixed the one, adjusted the other. Now the "other" door won't close. It'll be 3 weeks before they can come back to fix. Unacceptable to have new doors that are unusable.

We would definitely use Milgard again for our next home.

Mar 07, 2018I submitted service request through online at Milgard website on 1/15/2018. My windows are installed in 1999 by the builder and I have life time warranty. Balance was broken on one window. I did not hear from their customer service representative for more than a month. I called customer service dept. in February, asked why am I not getting any contact, I was told that they have to order the parts. They said that they have to order the balance because our window is old. Weather in Colorado was very cold below zero degrees. Two months wait was too long. Finally, Service man came to fix it on 3/6/2018. The technician was very knowledgeable, kind, he checked all other windows in our house, explain all our questions in our level to understand. I leaned a lot from him about windows. I felt I waited too long but it was worth it when I met this technician.
