Mar 15, 2018Two guys, Aaron & Nick came to replace our 5 smokey windows last Thursday, March 8th. They were on time and very quick to do all work. They have replaced 5 windows and fixed other windows which don't slide well.This is our first time to have this service in 14 years since we owned the house.We should have done it much earlier. We are very pleased that we finally did it. Thank you very much.

Mar 15, 2018I called warranty department to let then know that the collar of the screen for my casement window did not match the color of the windows as the other screens do. The evaluator visited and agreed that there must have been a mistake as the screen was clay colored and the windows are bronze. Another service person delivered the new screen and it was also clay not bronze. He told me that clay is the only color made for screens. Now I have 2 clay screens that do not match the window color. I believe what we have here is a failure to communicate.

Mar 15, 2018My Millard window developed a large crack 4 months after installation. I filed a request for repair via email but never talked to anyone on the phone, just email and some of those communications were sometimes confusing. The crack was reported in December but the repair wasn’t completed until Mid-Feb, by which time the crack had grown to approximately 18 inches. The repair was completed efficiently by the technician who came, I was just surprised by how long it took. I was happy that the repair was approved with no questions asked.

Mar 15, 2018My appointment for the repair was scheduled for a day and as the date approached, I received an email with a 2 hour window of time for the appointment, and the repairman called me when he was about 20 minutes from my home. He replaced three window panes that had lost their seals and was very efficient and considerate. I do wish he had cleaned the new panes a little more thoroughly so that I could enjoy the new, flaw free view.

Mar 15, 2018Absolutely pleased with the installment guys. However, this replacement window was requested almost a year ago along with a small fixed window and bedroom window. The installers advised at that time that this larger living room window didn’t make it on the truck for some reason. Didn’t hear back from Milgard for probably a month to reschedule. Rescheduled . Now important to note that this is a second home so I travel 150 miles from primary home to this address in Los Osos.So I drive over the night before as I had gotten email and phone call advising delivery between 9:00 and 11:00 am. Get call about 10:00am. She says she has some bad news, window didn’t arrive at the installers location. I am not happy. Sometime later get a call to reschedule the third time. This time it worked.

Mar 14, 2018Today was the second time Milgard sent their service people to honor the lifetime warranty on our 28 year old Milgard windows! They have fixed/replaced windows for us before, as well as put new rollers on our 8 foot sliding door. Today, they replaced the glass in our giant, front living room picture window. Sean, Cody and Robert were incredible! They were courteous, careful, very clean and respectful and if I didn't know better, I'd swear they just happy to be able to help! I can't thank Milgard enough and would give them 6 stars, if it were possible! If you are ever wondering if you should buy Milgard windows, trust me - go for it! You'll never regret it!

Mar 14, 2018Tech's who come out are wonderful. Also may see flaws before I do, so very honest people. Six month's of friendly, professional is way too much. Amazed they have staff. I never yipped at them. I did cry at times. Do I recommend = NO; but I'd gamble on better builder & being more involved. Third new house of milgard = 1st problem = 11 month hassle. So my 1 rating needs to take in 5 month hassle with builder over issue to get to milgard =3. I'd suggest deal with direct & when totally flustered go to corporate & REALLY - you want my opinion?I will design & build 1 more time 'God Forbid' my husband dies first. Please pray he does not! Our dream house is now wonderful! Watch your builder! Wear him down may become necessary.
