the service provider had to visit three to four time to fix 4 windows still one window isn't right size, I can fell lot of cold air near that window. called couple time left VM no reply?????

Mar 22, 2018Milguard windows are generally problematic, but the service to have them replaced is good. From my initial call it took about 4-6 weeks to get someone to come and look at the problem, and when replacements were needed it took about 6 weeks to get the new windows, so 3 months start to finish. The people who came were smart and professional, which is a GREAT improvement from the last time a few years ago. Milgard seems to be hiring good people and should be recognized for that.

Mar 22, 2018The tech came early after calling to make sure we were home. He was very pleasant to deal with and extraordinarily efficient in dealing with the problem windows. He was here and gone in less than 10 minutes so that we could get on with our day. Great service!

That was February 28, and we still haven't heard from him on March 22, although we have texted him twice. We love our new windows, but your technician did not live up to your reputation.

Mar 22, 2018The coordination of getting a tech to come out was OK. My window installer faxed a service request, but Milgard said that they never received it. That can happen. So I called Milgard, waited for about a week, but no one called me back to confirm an appointment. Rep said that it was because I didn't have a reference number??? Was a bit confusing. To arrange an appointment was disappointing because it took several weeks to get an appointment for a Tech to come out. However, what made up for all of this was the great Tech that eventually came out. He was courteous and I peppered him with multiple questions which he graciously answered. Overall, I love my windows and have gotten many compliments. Just work on getting a tech out more quickly.

Mar 21, 2018I ordered and paid for screens in August 2017 and finally received them in February but the installer took one of my good ones and we’re still left missing a screen. Supposedly after many calls and emails I should receive today???? Also I have been working with Milgard on my sons windows that have Issues and has for years. They have come out several times and they still aren’t right. I was assured by the installer and customer service that they would take this up with Gary rumbaugh (who is technically in charge of this are)but to this day I haven’t heard back from him either. It is a constant fight to get an answer and proper service from milgard. Terrible service.

Mar 21, 2018Very pleased that Milgard replaced the broken glass at no charge. The service tech was polite and took care of the issue in about thirty minutes. A local window screen shop here in San Jose could have sold me a new window, instead they told me about the serial number on the window frame and I should call Milgard. Kudos to them also. When I replace the two living room windows I will be calling Milgard.

Mar 21, 2018The only reason I gave Milgard 4:5 is due to a screw-up on the window order meaning they had to schedule another trip a month later to complete the job. The service workers are fantastic. They are efficient, very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly but professional. We were really happy with their service which involved replacing several windows after 18 years under warranty. Milgard just needs to pencil in a second appointment for two weeks out just in case on a big job like ours, there is a mistake with the number of windows ordered.
