Jason replaced some weather stripping and trimmed a piece on the window that was causing the problem.All is well again thanks to the great service by Milgard Windows.

Feb 13, 2018We didn't know about Milgard until now. The lifetime warranty appeared to be promising at first and it turned out to be such a disappointment and waste of our time.
Our HOA Board sent professional inspectors to check windows. Many units in our building experienced bad condensation and mold issues. It's 100% due to the glass quality. However, Sergio who came to inspect concluded otherwise. No surprise. Milgard doesn't take the responsibility to replace windows. It always blames other reasons like many Yelp customers suggested. We would not choose Milgard again and would not recommend to anyone. It has such a bad reputation in our community.

Feb 13, 2018One of our double-pane Milgard windows, installed in 2006, developed a vapor leak, and water began condensing inside. We contacted Milgard, and in about 2 weeks, they replaced it at no charge, under the lifetime guarantee. The new window was installed quickly and efficiently, and we are completely satisfied. I wish all companies could operate this consumer-friendly!

The date/time they provided me did not work for me but they called back with another date/time that was satisfactory. Service was within the time frame stated and completed in short order.Mahalo (thank you) for a job well done.

Feb 13, 2018I am Very Happy with Milgard. They are Awesome. I bought windows for my whole house back in 2011 and the window started losing the Argon gas in the middle which caused the window to lose clarity. I called customer service and they were very helpful in identifying which window to replace and setting up the repair appointment. The repair specialist that came out was awesome as well. After he replaced the windows I showed him a concern I had with a window that was not scheduled to be replaced and he fixed it anyway. So, from start to finish every aspect of Milgards service was Outstanding. Thank you so much.!!!

Feb 12, 2018Time from initial complaint to service was three weeks, involved about a dozen e-mails and phone calls with Lowe's (from whom we bought the door), and very little communication with Milgard. They e-mailed a report saying they would be in touch within 48 hours, and in fact took nearly a week, and it seems like it was only prodding from Lowe's that got them to actually call. At this point, they left a voicemail and scheduled an appointment without talking to us at all, or asking whether it was convenient (it was not).
All that said, the tech who came out was great: super-professional, competent, and careful to make sure everything worked perfectly.
In sum, Milgard showed very little interest in fixing several major errors in their order (they sent us a door with a fin instead of a block, and included an improperly sized and thus non-functional retractable screen door). With a whole lot of help from Lowe's, they finally sent out one of their service techs. The service tech was great, so it is worth being very very persistent.

Feb 12, 2018The Milgard service team is excellent!Being a GC in the San Francisco Bay Area it's good to know when something goes wrong with a Milgard product (which is not that often) it is good to know that their service team is there to help correct any issue. Top shelf service!

Feb 12, 2018Initial call was because screen installers said some screens did not fit properly and would need to be replaced. Screen installers did not write up new job ticket and it took weeks to get a service person out to evaluate the screens. Scheduling took weeks after the job ticket was created.
Service person kept the appointment and was on time. He was professional and looked at all screens. When I was told that some screens would need to be replaced because they did not fit properly, I thought it was because they were too loose. The service person said they were fine and were with in acceptible demensions. We found one screen that needed to be replaced and the service person measured the screen and will have it shipped to me.
Overall he performed well.
